W.L. Gore will restructure its various labels for items being introduced by manufacturers for the autumn/winter 2016/17 season, in connection with the launch of two new products, Gore Thermium and Gore Windstopper with Insulation. Designed to protect insulated fabrics from cold rain and snow, Gore Thermium has been adopted by brands such as Arc'teryx, Black Diamond, Millet, Montura and Mountain Equipment for that season. Gore Windstopper with Insulation Protection is described as a two-layer laminate for lightweight, insulated and windproof garments used for aerobic activities in cooler climates as well as down-filled urban streetwear. The technology will be used by Arc'teryx, Dynafit, Haglöfs Mammut, Marmot and Quiksilver, as well as in Gore Running Wear.
