Norwegian retailer XXL is bolstering its team by appointing Dawid Gosciniak to a newly created role as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for all of XXL’s markets.
Gosciniak will work on enhancing the chain’s omnichannel approach, refining the store concept, optimizing the customer journey, and ensuring the highest possible efficiency and profitability across the store network. “Dawid will be an important contributor to our transformation efforts,” said CEO Freddy Sobin in a press message. “Dawid will bring expertise and vision to the team. It will be particularly important to establish best practices and ensure a unified way of working throughout the company.” Gosciniak sees significant potential in XXL and says the new role is “tailor-made for him.” He also sees “incredible growth potential in XXL.”
Gosciniak has worked for 20 years at H&M, most recently as the Global Head of Store Experience & Commercial at CXS.
