Zeis Excelsa, the owner of the Virtus Palestre brand, has signed an exclusive licensing agreement with A Moda for the production and distribution of the brand's apparel and accessories. Along with the development of the men's, women's and children's collections, the three-year worldwide agreement also provides for the repositioning of the footwear collection. At the end of the period, A Moda has the right to buy a 50 percent stake of the brand. Virtus Palestre was launched in Italy in 1980. The new agreement is meant to relaunch the brand internationally. A Moda already has exclusive licensing deals to produce and distribute other brands such as Everlast and Dimensione Danza. The company posted revenues of around €20 million in 2014.
