Zoot Sports, the endurance sports brand, has named Erik Vervloet as its vice president and general manager. Vervloet has worked as vice president of sports marketing for K-Swiss, where he helped launch the running category, and most recently as chief marketing officer for the World Triathlon Corporation (WTC), the organizer of the Ironman, where he was responsible for driving global sales through management of all public facing initiatives including merchandising, branding, social media, national media relations and production, licensing and sponsorship. Zoot Sports, distributed in 22 countries, is part of the K2 Sports portfolio and is known for its triathlon-specific footwear line as well as wetsuits, compression products and performance wear for triathletes.
