Adidas said it will stop selling two T-shirts tied to this year's World Cup in Brazil after the country's tourism board said they associate Brazil with sexual tourism. One shirt shows a woman wearing a bikini next to Rio de Janeiro's Sugarloaf mountain with the phrase “Lookin' to Score” above the word “Brazil.” The other has an “I love Brazil” heart resembling the upside-down buttocks of a woman wearing a thong bikini bottom. The German sports brand, an official sponsor of the World Cup and the supplier of its official ball, stressed in a statement that it was a limited-edition range that was only available in the U.S. Dilma Rousseff, Brazil's first woman president, said in a burst of Twitter messages, which also included a hotline number to report cases of sexual exploitation, that Brazil is happy to receive tourists for the World Cup but is also ready to combat sex tourism. The upcoming sports mega-event is expected to draw some 600,000 foreign fans to the country.
