adidas will design and produce competition apparel for all delegations at the inaugural Esports Nations Cup in Riyadh on November 2, 2026 — more than 100 countries, around 2,000 athletes and coaches, 16 game titles and a $20 million prize pool.

The line between traditional sport and esports continues to blur as competitive gaming adopts many of the structures that have long defined international sporting competition. adidas will design and produce competition apparel for every delegation competing in the inaugural Esports Nations Cup (ENC), a new nation-based tournament set to debut in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on November 2, 2026.

The sportswear giant will supply jerseys and tracksuits for more than 100 participating countries and territories, covering around 2,000 athletes and coaches. Team kits designed to reflect national identities will be unveiled in the coming weeks.

The partnership marks adidas’ latest move into esports and underscores the sector’s growing emphasis on national representation.

Organized by the Esports Foundation, the ENC is designed as a recurring biennial competition built around national teams rather than club organizations. To support that model, the foundation has established a network of Official National Team Partners, National Team Managers and more than 700 coaches from more than 90 esports organizations, all involved in player selection and development across the tournament’s 16 game titles.

The event will feature a $20 million prize pool, with equal prize money awarded for placements across all titles. It is backed by a broader $45 million investment package that includes a $20 million Development Fund intended to support national federations, grassroots ecosystem development, travel and team operations.
