The collaboration is meant to strengthen the values of inclusion and accelerate the growth and development of the Paralympic movement.

Italian swimwear brand Arena and the Italian Paralympic Swimming Federation (FINP) have signed a four-year agreement that will cover the entire Olympic cycle from 2025 to 2028, with an eye on Los Angeles 2028. At the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, the Italian team won 16 gold medals, achieving third place in the medal table.

Over the next four years, Arena will provide FINP with access to the necessary technical apparel to best tackle the new challenges ahead. Arena will be present at FINP events, “creating a direct connection with athletes and stakeholders,” the brand said in a statement.

At the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, the Italian team won 16 gold medals, securing third place in the medal table and achieving a significant milestone in the history of Paralympic swimming.

Since 2009, FINP has worked with Paralympic athletes to promote inclusivity, making swimming and water polo accessible to everyone. The Italian Paralympic Committee (CIP) has entrusted FINP with the promotion and development of aquatic activities for athletes with disabilities, ensuring access to competitions and training. These activities involve individuals with physical or visual disabilities at any swimming level as well as people with intellectual and relational disabilities who have reached a high technical level in swimming. The physical and visual disability sectors currently include 1,100 athletes, along with a small but expanding sector for intellectual and relational disabilities.
