Champion’s European division has appointed Maurizio Donadi as its new Creative Director, effective Dec. 1. Donadi has decades of experience in the fashion industry. In the 1990s, he worked for companies like Benetton, where he spent more than 12 years, and Diesel, where he served as Director of Retail, USA. In the early 2000s, he joined Armani, where he served as Executive Vice-President. In 2006, he joined Ralph Lauren, where he developed the “Double RL” line. In 2009, he joined Levi’s as Global Senior Vice President, leading the brand’s high-end lines, including “Levi’s Vintage” and “Made & Crafted.” In 2012, he founded Transnomadica, a series of initiatives and exhibitions with a focus on vintage apparel and objects.
In his new role at Champion, he will oversee the entire creative development of the brand’s product lines and seasonal collections. As part of the leadership team, he will also contribute his expertise to collaboration strategies and marketing campaigns.
The parent company of Champion, Authentic Brands Group, has appointed some people during 2024.
