The collaboration between the fashion brand Louis Vuitton and Timberland has been in the news for quite some time. Now, a date has been set for the release of the products. The shoes will be pre-launched on the brand’s website and in the Louis Vuitton app via a dedicated landing page on July 18.
The French fashion house said in a press release that the global store premiere would be on Aug. 8. Creative director and artist Pharrell Williams unveiled the collaboration in January as part of his Western-themed fall collection.
The boots, including Timberland’s iconic The 6-Inch model (now LV 6-Inch), are made at the French fashion house’s footwear workshop in Fiesso, Italy. Each style is made from Italian nubuck leather with PrimaLoft insulation and seam-sealed waterproof construction.
The LV 6-Inch features the classic embossed LV monogram. It comes in two colorways, wheat or black, and has a monogram embossed tongue lining and leather gum stitching. The boot is available in unisex sizes and will retail for $2,850 to $2,450.
