On, renowned for its running gear, aims to revolutionize training footwear and apparel with Twigs’ collaboration. “Our entrance into the training space will take On to the next level,” states Marc Maurer, On’s Co-CEO. “In collaboration with FKA Twigs, we want to create revolutionary, high-performance training gear.”
Twigs’ initial tasks involve reimagining the Cloudtilt sneakers and representing On’s FW24 training collection, set for a September 2024 launch. The upcoming collection promises to prioritize freedom of movement for diverse exercise forms, signaling a departure from traditional training norms. While specific details on the training collection remain undisclosed, Twigs’ partnership hints at innovative designs. The recent photoshoot unveiling the collaboration showcases black tank tops, loose-fitting track pants, and intricate white training shoes, possibly offering a glimpse into On’s upcoming offerings.
