The new Air Rev debuts a movable Air Zoom unit that pairs with an interchangeable Formula23 foam insert.
Jordan Brand is launching the Air Rev golf shoe, available from May 14 at jordan.com and select retail partners in North America, followed by a global release in the coming months. The Jordan Brand Air Rev features Flight Lock technology, which utilizes a movable Air Zoom unit to keep the trail foot locked in place.
The Air Rev’s Flight Lock technology debuts a movable Air Zoom unit that pairs with an interchangeable Formula23 foam insert, dial lacing system, and leno weave strap. “The Air Zoom unit is intended to be inserted into a pouch in the sidewall of the golfer’s trail (back) foot, providing appropriate pressure with every swing, while the Formula23 foam is to be used on the lead (front) foot, delivering cushioned stability,” explained the brand. This system allows for the swapping of the Air Zoom unit and Formula23 foam to meet the user’s needs, so that both left- and right-handed golfers can use the same model of shoe.
