For the first time Macron Hero will be standing out on the jersey of a Major League Soccer (MLS) team. Connecticut United FC (CT United FC) has come to a sponsorship deal with the Italian sportswear brand. Macron will be providing game sets and technical apparel for everything from the professional team to the academy.

The garments will be available in CT United’s online shop and at selected retail partners across the state. Founded in 2004, CT United is Connecticut’s premier professional team, owned by the Connecticut Sports Group. It is the fifth independent professional men’s soccer club in the MLS NEXT Pro, a tournament that brings together clubs from the US and Canada. It has been the third soccer division in North America since in 2022.
The club will make its league debut in 2025, and will be soon playing in the stadium now being built on the Bridgeport waterfront. The club and the brand agree on the importance of community, youth (the football academy is for the young of Connecticut), the philosophical values of sport and the environment – these are the pillars on which the partnership rests. For Macron, this is a crucial growth step in the North American market, an important expansion target for a brand that embodies Italian tradition and design.
