Luxury outerwear brand Moncler and Edward Enninful have introduced “Moncler x EE72”, Moncler’s latest Genius collaboration. Enninful is best known for his leadership in major editorial roles, and this is his first foray into fashion design.

Born in Ghana in 1972, Edward Enninful moved to the UK at the age of 13. He became fashion director of British fashion magazine i-D at just 18. He then served as Editor-in-Chief of British Vogue, and later as Vogue’s Global Creative and Cultural Advisor.
“EE72” is the name of the media venture that Edward Enninful has just co-founded with his sister Akua. The new 72 quarterly magazine, which marks EE72’s entry into publishing, launched mid of September.
For his debut Genius collection, “Edward Enninful envisions the wardrobe for a fashionable global adventurer: a bold hero equipped to navigate extreme terrains, from sun-scorched dunes to windswept shores and snow-capped peaks,” explained Moncler. Each look was designed to defy one of the three elements that Enninful envisioned.
The elemental spirit of Moncler x EE72 by Edward Enninful is featured in a new campaign captured by American photographer Tyler Mitchell and starring South Sudanese-Australian model Adut Akech.
