Nike and the Uruguayan Football Association (AUF) have announced a multi-year partnership that makes Nike the federation’s exclusive sports sponsor and supplier. As part of the agreement, Nike will outfit all AUF men’s and women’s national football teams, including the federation’s Olympic, beach football, futsal and e-sports teams.
The partnership is also designed to promote participation in football across Latin America, with a focus on grassroots initiatives, coaching education and youth development through community impact programs.
The Uruguayan men’s national football team first wore Nike uniforms this summer.
