Running brand On has opened up an office in London to support the hectic British market. Just around the corner from the On store in Spitalfields, is the company’s newest workspace situated. On calls it a “hub for teams from marketing to technology, talent and sales.” The design features elements inspired by movement and nature, fusing London with our roots in Switzerland. The office has 73 employees and is designed to connect with the company roots, says one of the architects behind the design, On employee Yo Murata:

“The design of our office tells a story of movement inspired by the River Thames, a lifeline of London. Just as the Thames shape the city’s geological landscape, our design comes alive through sustainable layered clay, symbolizing our connection to nature. The micro-architecture, with beveled edges, reflects the influence of Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier, who drew inspiration from traditional Engadin architecture, where On’s journey began. History, nature, and innovation create a dynamic and inspiring place for our teams to enjoy.”

Laura Sugden Clarke, Conceptual Copy Lead, enjoys her workplace.

“It’s so lovely to have a space where we can all be together to collaborate, and I never fail to get new solutions and ideas when I come in. It’s also in such a fun, buzzy part of London – there’s a real old-London meets new-London vibe that’s exciting. There’s always a new exhibition, store opening or restaurant to check out, so we’re never short on inspiration.”
