Swim brand Speedo, part of Pentland Brands, has announced a new licensed partnership with DMC Fins. The agreement will see the two Australian-born brands collaborate on various co-branded fins for fitness and competitive swim training. The collection will be available globally starting in January 2025.

The new Speedo x DMC collection features four types of fin: the Original Fin and Super Fin (both for fitness swimmers), as well as the Elite Fin (for competitive swimmers at all levels), and the Elite Max Fin (for competitive swimmers at elite level). Several styles in the collection use DMC’s Silform silicone technology for a softer feel.

Speedo was born on Bondi Beach, Australia, in 1928. Speedo joined the Pentland Brands family in 1991. DMC was founded by competitive bodysurfer Don McCredie in 1986 and pioneered the silicone fin.

A lot is going on at Speedo’s parent company, Pentland Brands. SGI Europe met the new CEO earlier, who spoke extensively about the company’s focus in a C-suite interview.
