The PGA of Great Britain and Ireland is set to launch the PGA Golf Business Institute, a new initiative in business and management education that is meant to meet the growing interest among its members in pursuing management and leadership positions. In response to this trend, the PGA conducted a review of its existing business and management education and created a dedicated hub designed to provide members with key management skills needed to drive the future of golf.
The Institute will feature a structured approach, built on three pillars: expanding and enhancing the Association’s existing business and management education; developing new initiatives to support PGA Managers at all career stages; and forging strategic partnerships with other education providers. The Institute will be open to all PGA Members regardless of their primary specialism.
The Institute will offer a flexible learning experience, to ensure accessibility and convenience. The learning formats will include in-person training, online learning, live case studies, masterclasses and networking events. Further details on the official launch and how to get involved will be released soon, said the Association.
