The extension ties Fanatics to Europe’s top club competitions for another six years as it continues a string of sports rights deals, from padel to golf, as part of its broader European expansion.
Fanatics Collectibles has extended its trading card partnership with UC3, the commercial entity that manages UEFA club competition rights on behalf of European football’s governing body and leading clubs, adding six years to an agreement that will now run through 2033.
The deal covers the men’s and women’s UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Conference League, UEFA Super Cup and UEFA Youth League. Trading cards, stickers and trading card games developed under the agreement will continue to be produced under the Topps brand.
A new collectible format will be introduced under the extension. Known as the Debut Patch, each one-of-one card will contain a patch taken from the shirt worn by a player in his or her first UEFA Champions League appearance. The authenticated memorabilia cards will debut later this season in the Topps UEFA Champions League Chrome Collection.

The agreement extends one of the most visible licensing relationships in European football collectibles. Fanatics and Topps have expanded their presence across UEFA competitions in recent years as the trading card market has broadened beyond traditional collectors to attract younger and digitally engaged audiences.
The renewal extends a European growth push Fanatics detailed to SGIE in August. Vice President International Growth and Strategy Chris Smith said international sales represent close to 15 percent of the company’s total commerce, with growth exceeding 35 percent since 2024, and described the conditions that determine where Fanatics takes on a whole-stack retail and licensing role: a partner with scale and “genuine global fan demand,” willing to hand over the full fan journey. Fanatics has applied that model to the DP World Tour, Ryder Cup Europe and Premier Padel this year, and now extends it into UEFA’s club competitions.
