New Balance has made a move to extend the company’s reach across Europe through a newly structured distributor arrangement.

New Balance’s current distributor agreement with Chris Sports expires on Dec. 31, 2025. New Balance Germany, a wholly owned subsidiary of New Balance, will assume full responsibility for distributing the brand in Austria from Jan. 1, 2026. Chris Sports will continue to be responsible for distribution in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
“New Balance continues to build a strong multichannel business, and the planned restructuring sets to reinforce the company’s ambition of continuing to extend the brand’s influence,” said Mathias Boenke, New Balance’s SVP EMEA region. “The new arrangement also sends a clear signal highlighting New Balance’s record sustainable growth, particularly across the brand’s European markets.
Earlier this summer, SGI Europe reported that New Balance moved their EMEA headquarters.
