Australian outdoor accessory brand Le Bent has a new distributor in the EU and Switzerland in Innsbruck-based Zanier Sport. As a Climate Partner-certified glove brand, the Austrian family-owned company uses sustainable materials, among other things, to reduce the ecological footprint of its products and the company itself. A philosophy similar to that of Le Bent, Zanier writes in a press release.

According to Markus Zanier, CEO of Zanier, the two brands complement each other well regarding their focus on sustainability. “As a young brand in the base layer sector, Le Bent is one step ahead of us in terms of sustainability, inspiring and supporting us in sourcing sustainable materials that we can transfer to the technically demanding glove sector,” said Zanier. ”The Zanier Gloves and Le Bent brands are also united by an authentic passion for the outdoor experience and a focus on customer service.”

The founders of Le Bent, Simon Blondel and Anthony Symons, worked for years in boot fitting in Val-d’Isère. In their search for a high-performance material for socks, the founders began to look for an innovative, sustainable material themselves. They have developed their own unique “signature blend”, a mix of bamboo and merino that, according to the company, meets the highest standards in terms of sustainability, innovation and comfort.
