Eleven Teamsports is expanding its 11teamsports platform into the Benelux countries by setting up its own national e-shops in the three new markets. Following the acquisition of a Dutch omnichannel football specialist, 100% Football, based in Apeldoorn, its existing 100% Football stores will be re-branded in the coming months. In addition to the founder of 100% Football, Walter van den Belt, the future management team will be supplemented by two retail experts, André Vastermann and Martin Huizer. With its move into the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, the German-based Eleven Teamsports expands its presence to a total of 14 European countries. The company claims to be the largest online sales platform for football and other team sports in Europe with more than 2.5 million customers. It also has more than 30 physical stores, to which nine others in Benelux will soon be added. Earlier this month, 11teamsports announced the acquisition of two German online shops, cawila.de and bfpversand.de, that will be soon integrated into its main internet platform.
