Foot Locker Europe has signed a four-year deal with CommerceHub to help expand its product assortment and create a more efficient supply chain for its Foot Locker and Sidestep banners in 18 countries. It will do so through the drop-ship network of CommerceHub, a leading cloud-based e-commerce enablement platform with a European office in London that is already working with thousands of retailers, brands and suppliers. Its drop-ship network is expected to allow the large global brands and emerging brands to offer a wider selection of products to Foot Locker’s European customers, sharing inventory to maximize fulfillment. Founded in 1997 in Albany, New York, CommerceHub boasts the fulfillment of products worth an estimated $30 billion in annual general merchandise value. It already works with Dick’s Sporting Goods in the U.S., among others. Bryan Dove joined CommerceHub last month as CEO after working for more than 20 years in the technology sector with companies such as Microsoft, Amazon Web Services and most recently Skyscanner, a global travel marketplace where he served as CEO.
