For the 40th time, FIBO has held its annual show in Cologne, this year on April 10-13. The fitness trade show brought the global fitness and health community together, connecting 154,748 visitors from 129 countries with over 1,200 exhibiting companies and partners.

Recent figures underscore the fitness industry’s growth. According to DSSV and Deloitte, the fitness and health sector in Germany has reached 11.71 million members, generating €5.82 billion in annual revenue. Across Europe, membership rose to 71.6 million, with a market size of €36 billion. These figures reinforce the significance of fitness as both an economic driver and a key to societal health.

During FIBO, the visitors could test all kinds of equipment and clothing and join classes in yoga, running, weight lifting, indoor cycling.

It will continue to play a pivotal role in advancing the growth and evolution of these future-oriented industries,” stated Michael Köhler, Managing Director of RX Germany, the event organiser.

Next year, FIBO 2026 will be held on April 16-19 in Cologne.
