Global golf league LIV Golf has announced Chris Heck as President of Business Operations, a newly created role. He will report to Scott O’Neil, the league’s CEO since January.
Heck brings more than 30 years of executive experience in the sports industry. Prior to joining LIV Golf, he served as President of Business Operations at Premier League club Aston Villa FC. He spent nearly a decade working for the Philadelphia 76ers, from 2013 to 2022, with roles including President and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer. He also served as President of Business Operations at Major League Soccer (MLS)’s New York Red Bulls, from 2011 to 2013, as well as Senior Vice President of Marketing Partnership – USA Basketball at the National Basketball Association (NBA), from 2004 to 2011.
