Following its 2023 acquisition of Go Sport, Qatar-based Al Mana has named Robin Trebbe as General Manager of Go Sport Franchising and Christoffer Jansén as General Manager of the Sports Division at Al Mana Fashion Group. Trebbe will oversee the expansion of the Go Sport franchise network, while Jansén will manage the company’s regional operations—Go Sport, Courir, and the NBA Store—across the Middle East.

Trebbe, formerly Vice President of Performance Sports at Adidas China, brings extensive retail and brand experience from international markets. He had also previous roles at Intersport International and the EU Chamber of Commerce in China. Al Mana said his appointment “signals a sharpened focus on quality franchising across the regional market and beyond”. Trebbe commented: “This new journey with GO Sport Franchising is an exciting opportunity… to create compelling, high‑performance retail experiences that speak directly to the evolving needs of regional consumers” .
Jansén joins from XXL Sports & Outdoor Finland, where he led significant restructuring and refocused the business around consumer performance. Al Mana noted: “Jansén now will lead a division that has grown into one of the region’s most recognizable multi-brand operators, managing GO Sport, Courir, and the NBA Store across Qatar, the UAE, Bahrain, Oman, and Saudi Arabia,”
Since acquiring Go Sport, Al Mana has pursued steady franchise development across key Gulf markets. The company currently operates nine stores across Qatar, UAE, and Oman—comprising seven Go Sport and two Courir outlets—including a flagship in Dubai Mall. Al Mana’s Sports Division also holds the NBA Store license in the region .
