The German ski brand builds out leadership for its premium growth push with two new appointments.

Toni Sailer has named two senior executives to lead its international growth, appointing Andreas Orehounig as Head of Sales and Timo Regier as Managing Director USA. Orehounig’s appointment took effect Aug. 1, while Regier’s was announced alongside it on Aug. 31.

The moves come as the family-owned brand pushes to widen its sales channels in established markets while building out a dedicated leadership structure for North America, a region it has served through its own subsidiary, Fashion Pool USA, since 2008. Both hires point to a broader effort to defend Toni Sailer’s positioning in the premium and luxury segment of the ski market as competition for high-end winter sports consumers intensifies.

Orehounig will oversee the brand’s international sales team, with a specific mandate to deepen existing market and partner relationships and expand into new sales channels, according to the company. Fashion Pool GmbH, which operates the Toni Sailer brand, said the goal is to grow the brand’s international footprint while preserving its selective distribution model. Orehounig said he was looking forward to contributing his experience to a brand with what he described as a distinctive heritage and identity.

Regier, in the newly created Managing Director USA role, will be responsible for commercial growth across the United States and Canada, including optimizing existing retail relationships and establishing new strategic partnerships. He said the appointment gives him the chance to help redefine luxury performance positioning for the American ski market, working closely with the brand’s North American trade partners.

Neither release disclosed the executives’ prior employers or specified reporting lines.
