For decades, Swedish Stiga Sports has been at the forefront of crafting world-class table tennis rackets. Their latest groundbreaking innovation, dubbed Cybershape, initially made waves in the table tennis scene with its distinctive angular design. This edgy racket shape is engineered to provide players with a larger hitting surface, an expanded sweet spot and enhanced power. Following its success in table tennis, Stiga Sports extended the Cybershape design to the rapidly growing pickleball segment. Now, the company is set to make a splash in the world of padel.
According to the company, the Cybershape racket boasts a 20 percent larger sweet spot compared to traditional rackets, offering players a significant advantage. To develop this design, Stiga Sports collaborated with Daniel Dios, a former professional player, the ex-coach of the Swedish padel national team and one of Sweden’s most accomplished figures in the sport.
The company’s new racket comes in three models – Cybershape 3K, Cybershape 18K and Cybershape 18K Hard – and will be available for pre-order starting mid-January.
During the last few years, Stiga Sports has made waves in the racket sports industry with multiple new inventions. In September 2023, they presented their new products for the tennis scene.
