Ciele Athletics has expanded its Icon line into a broader technical running collection with headwear, shorts and singlets designed to manage sun, heat and moisture.

Canadian running brand Ciele Athletics has launched Icon, a new line of technical training and race day wear made with advanced performance fabrics. The collection incorporates recycled materials and innovative construction techniques that minimize excess bulk while maximizing technical advantages. Originally introduced as a small headwear collection last year, Icon is now an expanded range that also features shorts and singlets.

Icon employs two purpose-built fabric systems. RAYaway ceramic ripstop, featured in most of the collection’s headwear, utilizes ceramic-printed technology that reflects solar radiation and lowers surface heat, to help keep the head cooler under direct sun exposure. COOLmatic | EXP, Ciele’s highest-performance fabric system for knits, wovens and meshes, integrates carbon or graphene-infused yarns to help disperse heat produced during activity. Together, these technologies enable headwear and apparel to actively manage sun, heat and moisture, helping performance during peak intensity.

The Icon collection is now available for purchase via cieleathletics.com, at Ciele’s flagship store in Montreal, and at select retailers globally.

Founded in Montreal in 2014 by Jeremy Bresnen and Mike Giles, Ciele Athletics offers high-performance headwear and apparel collections designed for runners, available in more than 1,300 stores in 43 countries. Ciele Athletics is a B Corp -certified company.
