Nike’s Radical AirFlow rollout reinforces ventilation and sweat-evaporation performance as a competitive front, alongside cushioning and carbon-plate innovation, in running.
Nike expanded Radical AirFlow from limited early market availability to a broader global rollout. The apparel collection reaches retail in early July 2026 and makes its highest profile debut at the Prefontaine Classic, one of the world’s leading annual track and field meets, held July 3–4, 2026, in Eugene, Oregon.
The core innovation is an open hole knit construction, with engineered air ducts placed in areas prone to heat and friction to speed sweat evaporation.
At the Prefontaine Classic, Nike outfitted elite athletes including Faith Kipyegon, Sha’Carri Richardson and Keely Hodgkinson in individually designed Radical AirFlow kits, tailored to performance needs and personal style.
The launch paired a broad retail release with a custom program for top athletes, reinforcing ventilation and evaporation performance as a competitive front alongside cushioning and carbon plate innovation in running.
