For the start of the spring/summer 2023 shopping season, Sport 2000 has, for the first time, completely digitally processed order preparation and entry for the NOS (never out of stock) segment. Together with MobiMedia and its digital order platform Quintet24, the retail group has developed a system that enables a clear, transparent and convenient purchasing process for all NOS programs. In this process, retailers use a first fill to determine which items they constantly need because they are in high demand. As soon as a certain minimum limit is reached, the sold items are automatically reordered via the retailer’s merchandise management system.
“NOS programs are very important to our partners, averaging about 20 percent of total orders per season. They are so important because they are particularly sought-after items that a sports retailer should always have in stock to avoid no-sales,” explained René Wagenknecht, head of wholesale/express warehouse at Sport 2000 in Germany.
With the digitalization of the processes, the ordering process is now significantly simplified for the partners, and more efficient ordering is made possible. Orders are placed in Quintet24 using clear workbooks that are sorted by brand or category. There, retailers can conveniently complete their digital-first fill entry with a few clicks.
According to Sport 2000, 826 first-fill orders have already been processed via the new system for the spring/summer 2023 season. Sport 2000 offers NOS programs with 15 brands – Adidas, Arena, Blackroll, Buff, CMP, Craft, Falke, Icepeak, Jack Wolfskin, Nike, Odlo, Reebok, Salomon, Under Armour and Ziener – to its affiliated retail partners. A total of 620 sales outlets participate in the program.
