François Mbody has been appointed Deputy General Manager of Sport 2000 France, effective May 27. Since 2016, he has been the Director of Operations as well as Administrative and Financial Director at FAM Consulting.
“After a career of more than 20 years in retail, François Mbody will accompany the transformation of our group thanks to his solid experience gained in prestigious companies,” commented Emmanuelle Bahuaud, CEO of Sport 2000. “In particular, he will bring his knowledge of collaborative organizations to optimize our productivity and accelerate our performance. He will support me and the Board of Directors in implementing the Group’s priorities, in particular the new corporate project.”
Prior to FAM Consulting, Mbody served as Secretary General of French retailer cooperative Système U for 12 years, from 2004 to 2016. He also worked as Administrative and Financial Director at Gedimat from 2000 to 2004 and as Finance and Administration Manager at Decathlon Group from 1996 to 2000.
