TeamViewer, a German remote access computer software brand, is launching an initiative to encourage more women to pivot into a career in sports technology. The TeamViewer initiative is dubbed “SheSportTech.”
Selected applicants will receive a grant of up to €1,500 to help them pursue a relevant training course or certification in sports technology. Successful applicants will also be paired with a female mentor working in sports technology, including roles at Manchester United and the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1 Team.
The newly launched website SheSportTech.com features stories from women currently working in the industry to inspire others and help them get a job in sports tech.
