For its new synthetic insulation material Ecoloft ActiVe SR that incorporates 35 percent bio-based Sorona, 55 percent recycled polyester and a 10 percent share of virgin polyester, the Korean company Youngone has received the ISPO Textrends Award 2023/24. The new insulation is a vertical, overlapping fiber construction that aims for down-like properties while also providing insulation when wet. In recent years, Youngone has created its own families of ingredient technologies like fabrics, insulation and waterproof/breathable membranes for functional apparel.
The Youngone Corporation is headquartered in Seoul and consists of a manufacturing business segment and a brand distribution segment that holds a majority in Scott Sports and Outdoor Research.
