There is quite a lot going on for Foot Locker outside their home market in the US. One year ago the company appointed a new GMO for EMEA. Foot Locker has published the first images of the company´s new European distribution center in Haps, the Netherlands. This new distribution center joins Foot Lockers global network of distribution centers that support specifically Europe. By implementing a goods-to-person order fulfilment system, the company say it wants to be enable to make seamless deliveries of the best brands and products to its customers across EMEA.
There is quite a lot going on for Foot Locker outside their home market in the US. One year ago the company appointed a new GMO for EMEA. The opening of the new distribution center is in line with the “Lace Up Plan”, Foot Lockers strategy laid out in March 2023.
At the same time, the company’s representatives say that Foot Locker has worked to reduce their environmental footprint by prioritizing renewable energy. The new distribution center is therefore an all-electric facility that uses solar panels and other sustainable materials in the building.
With plans to have their European Distribution Center fully operational in the first half of 2025, Foot Locker is now is recruiting staff members.
