Oysho, the sports and leisure apparel brand that is part of the Inditex group, is to use Q-Cycle in a collection of compression garments. Q-Cycle is a sustainable polyamide yarn resulting from the interaction between BASF’s ChemCycling project and Fulgar, an Italian firm specializing in man-made fibers.
Q-Cycle is produced using 100 percent recycled raw materials, saving significant amounts of fossil resources. It is obtained by converting end-of-life tyres into a textile material for the apparel industry that is said to feature the quality of polyamide, including breathability.
