Superfeet is staking its differentiation on carbon-plated, sport-specific insoles rather than general comfort. The Cleat Playmaker Elite, priced at $94.99 and backed by claimed speed and stability gains, leads the shift, with a Court-focused model due this fall.
US insole maker Superfeet has expanded its performance range with three new sport specific lines, Cleat, Court and Sport, led by the Cleat Playmaker Elite and a Court Playmaker Elite expected later this year. The company is positioning the products as performance equipment, not comfort accessories.
The Cleat Collection targets soccer, football, baseball and lacrosse, designed for movement on grass and turf. The top model, the Cleat Playmaker Elite ($94.99), uses a carbon fiber plate supplied by Carbitex, a US materials technology company, alongside foam cushioning and a silicone grip layer. Superfeet said internal athlete testing showed wearers moved up to half a yard faster, and 88 percent reported improved stability. A lower tier Cleat Playmaker ($44.99) is aimed at everyday training and match comfort.

The Sport Collection, aimed at tennis, pickleball, golf and gym training, comes in three tiers, Ultralight ($64.99), Support ($59.99) and Cushion ($44.99). Superfeet said the tiers differ by weight, structural support and cushioning rather than by sport. Carbitex describes the plate technology as engineered to flex with an athlete’s movement rather than maintaining fixed rigidity.
A Court Playmaker Elite insole built for basketball and volleyball’s multidirectional movement is expected to follow this fall, with details still to come. The Cleat and Sport lines are available online at Superfeet.com and select retailers.
