Dr. Rosarita Cuccoli

Dr. Rosarita Cuccoli

Rosarita Cuccoli has been working with EDM Publications since 2011. She is currently based in Italy, after spending more than two decades in France. She brings long-standing experience in the broader sport sector, having held sport-related roles at international organizations and academia. She has taught for over ten years at the sports management programs of several French Grandes Écoles in Paris, Lyon and Angers. She is now a Professor of Sports Sociology at the University of Verona. She also previously served as the secretary general of the International Association of Sports Newspapers, part of the World Association of News Publishers until 2011. Since 2007, she has been collaborating with the European think tank Sport and Citizenship, where she has served as a board member for two terms, and currently supervises the “sport and media” scientific cluster. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Rennes, obtained with a thesis on sports journalism. She previously studied at the universities of Bologna, her hometown, and Cambridge. In her spare time, she enjoys working out at the gym and playing tennis.
