Decathlon is testing an interactive “educational corner” on sport and health, with a focus on connected devices, at its main Decathlon Campus in Villeneuve d’Ascq, in the north of France. The new space is meant to allow customers to benefit from personalized advice about how to improve their lifestyle in the same place where they make their sporting goods purchases. Customers have an opportunity to track their sleep, for example, and experiment a variety of connected health devices. The sport and health corner has been developed by the leading French sports retailer in collaboration with various French partners: Withings, MySommeil, Air et Santé, Helight, and Morphée. It will be offered at the Decathlon Campus in Villeneuve d’Ascq until June 5.
