Aquafil is reaching out to consumers: the Italian yarn supplier has just launched an Econyl e-shop platform, where – for the first time – customers can buy a range of sports, lifestyle and fashion products made from the company’s regenerated nylon Econyl directly in one place. According to Aquafil, the store aims to respond to current market trends where digitalization, online sales and sustainability are the key factors. Evidently, the initiative is also intended to establish Econyl as a solid ingredient brand in the market.

Aquafil is initially launching its web store with 15 brands. Among the sportier brands on the platform are Garmont and Pacsafe, joined by various beach and swimwear companies such as Botanical Beach Babes and Mermazing. Each product offered is categorized and can be filtered by values such as vegan, zero waste, craftsmanship, eco-design, ethical labor, member of Healthy Seas, size-inclusive or local production, to name a few. This ensures a targeted selection of product offerings based on each customer’s individual priorities.

In addition to direct digital sales, consumers can browse a variety of content to expand and deepen their knowledge about sustainability and the circular economy for both the brand and consumers.

Aquafil, based in Arco, specializies in the production of polyamide 6 (nylon 6). Its Econyl ingredient brand of regenerated nylon made from recycled waste is used in a range of textile products and eyewear and by activewear brands like Adidas and Speedo.
