Nike and John Geiger have settled their trademark infringement battle, according to a statement on Geiger’s Instagram account. As part of the agreement, Geiger will modify the design of his GF-01 sneaker, which Nike had flagged in 2021 for trademark infringement upon the registered trade dress of the Nike Air Force 1, as also reported by SGI Europe at the time. The amicable resolution includes a consent judgment, which is an agreement that resolves a dispute between two parties without admission of guilt in a criminal case, or liability, in a civil case, on either side.
