Babolat’s Air Viper has won best pádel racquet of 2021 in Padel Spain magazine’s annual readers’ poll, with about 150,000 people voting online. Babolat says it developed its oversized Air Viper line through the observation of pádel play and a technical study. The company believes that there exist three pádel profiles: the technical attacker, the attacker from the air and the counter-attacker. The Air Viper in particular is designed for the second profile. All of the line’s racquets take into account hole placement, shock absorption, grip and size. They are on sale at babolat.com and at selected retailers.
Babolat’s Jet Premura shoe, developed in collaboration with Michelin, had already been recognized as the best shoe for pádel tennis in 2020.
