EssilorLuxottica and Eastman Kodak Company have announced the signature of a perpetual, worldwide license agreement granting the Italo-French group the exclusive right to use the Kodak brand for all products and services connected to its business. The brand has been part of the group’s portfolio of lenses since 2010 and is currently distributed in more than 60 countries. EssilorLuxottica said that it would further develop the brand “in the full range of [its] product categories,” hinting at the possible launch of a Kodak-branded eyewear collection.
