Footwear and lifestyle brand Vivobarefoot is introducing VivoBiome, an experiential platform for personalized, circular, locally assembled footwear. Each VivoBiome product can be tailored to the customer’s needs and preferences. The VivoBiome footwear uses SLS 3D printing and artificial intelligence (AI) data. Vivobarefoot is looking for 200 Brits to try the first generation of VioBiome products before a global launch. Working with Unreal Engine, the VivoBiome platform uses photoreal visuals to bring the product to life. Each person participating in the trial can virtually try on the footwear, then further customize it before printing. The shoes are 3D-printed locally to minimize waste, energy and emissions and promote circularity. Each successful applicant in the program, priced at £260 (€304), will receive three pairs of the first generation of VivoBiome products and is asked to provide feedback and suggest adjustments or developments for later models.
