SportScheck, the German multi-channel sports retailer recently acquired by Signa Retail, has opened a pop-up area in its flagship store in Munich with the sports division of Emporio Armani, EA7, as part of its retail media activities. The current autumn/winter collection will be presented for six weeks in a prominent 24-square-meter space, accompanied by an extensive media campaign by SportScheck. In its online store, the promotion will run until the end of February.
SportScheck launched its innovative Retail Media marketing concept in the summer of 2019. Retail Media is characterized by a smart interplay of online and offline programs, linking the online and offline channels with social media. SportScheck says that its Retail Media solutions allow advertisers to benefit from the wide reach of its entire ecosystem. The offering is also available for brands from outside the sports industry that want to appeal to a sporty target group.
