Crocs has relaunched its ‘Old Crocs. New Life’ shoe takeback program, expanding the initiative to include all retail and outlet locations across the US, except in Hawaii and Puerto Rico. The program invites individuals to deposit Crocs shoes of any condition into collection boxes or send them via a free mail-back kit available on the company’s website. In exchange, participants receive a 10 percent discount on their next Crocs purchase, either in-store or online.

“We are expanding our ‘Old Crocs. New Life’ program, taking learnings from last year’s pilot and working to create an even bigger impact together with our fans, said Deanna Bratter, Vice President and Global Head of Sustainability at Crocs. ”The growth of this program is an exciting continuation of our efforts to address the environmental and social challenges faced by the footwear industry and ultimately make a difference by keeping shoes on feet and out of landfills.”

The program not only recycles gently used shoes through donations to the nonprofit Soles4Souls but also repurposes severely worn pairs into new products, advancing Crocs’ commitment to circular production models and reducing waste across the footwear industry.
