The ISPO Awards 2025 shortlist is out, showcasing breakthrough products and trends that will shape the future of sports and outdoor gear. Health, versatility, and circularity dominate the jury’s picks.

ISPO has announced the shortlist for its 2025 Awards, setting the stage for one of the most influential recognitions in the sporting goods industry. The jury evaluated submissions across multiple categories, including bike and commuting, camping and vanlife, fitness and health, lifestyle and athleisure, mountaineering, hiking, and snowsports.

This year’s shortlist reflects three major themes: health-driven concepts, versatile design, and circular solutions. Products range from fully disassemblable helmets with integrated LED visibility to biocircular sneakers designed to “fade” over time, and technical apparel that combines performance with sustainability.

The ISPO Awards serve as a trend compass for retailers and brands, offering insights into consumer priorities and technological advances. Winners will be announced during ISPO Munich (Nov. 30–Dec. 2), with Gold winners revealed live at the ISPO Award Gathering on November 30.

For brands, the awards provide a platform to showcase innovation and gain visibility in a competitive market. With categories spanning from fitness and yoga to snow sports and outdoor gear, the shortlist underscores the growing demand for products that combine performance, sustainability, and adaptability.

A First Look at the Top 5

This year’s Top 5 finalists showcase that ambition across disciplines: from trail running to mountaineering, hiking to snowsports, and lifestyle performance wear.

Among the standouts: The North Face’s Summit VECTIV™ Pro 3 redefines speed and grip for runners tackling technical terrain. EDELRID’s OHMEGA brings new thinking to belaying safety for climbers. Rab’s Syclon XP 40 combines packability with weather protection for hikers moving fast and light. Mammut’s Eiger Free Pro HS Bib Pants deliver backcountry-ready performance for women in snowsports. And IMPETUS’s IM001NGC blurs the line between sport and style with a design built for everyday movement.

These five represent just a fraction of the shortlist. Other finalists—including Outopia, Reima, KIPRUN, Dometic and FLECTR—will present their innovations at the Award Exhibition during ISPO Munich. For the complete shortlist across all categories, visit ISPO.com
