Compass Diversified (CoDi), the Westport, Connecticut-based owner of several sporting goods brands, including Boa Technology, 5.11 and Velocity Outdoor, announced the appointment of Anne Cavassa as Chief Executive Officer of its subsidiary PrimaLoft Inc. effective Jan. 1, 2024.
The move follows Cavassa’s recent appointment as President of the company. The changes come after former President and CEO, Mike Joyce, announced his retirement at the end of the year after 11 years at the helm. In his retirement, Joyce will assume the role of Vice Chairman on PrimaLoft’s Board of Directors.
Cavassa brings nearly three decades of experience to PrimaLoft, highlighted by strategic leadership positions at several outdoor and active lifestyle brands. She was previously President of Saucony and SVP and Chief Customer Experience Officer at Brooks Sports Inc. She has also held leadership positions at Timberland, Nike, Reebok, Tommy Bahama and Eddie Bauer.
CoDi acquired PrimaLoft from Victor Capital Partners and minority owners in mid-2022.
