VF Corp. has appointed Nina Flood as president, global packs for Eastpak, JanSport and Kipling. She has most recently served as president of Eastpak, after a long career at two other VF brands, Nautica and Kipling. Flood joined VF in 2003 after leaving the fashion brand Guess. Working from the VF International’s headquarters in Stabio, Switzerland, she will report to Martino Scabbia Guerrini, executive vice president and president for the EMEA region. The newly created role is supposed to leverage synergies among the group’s pack brands, while ensuring each brand’s independent identity. The Eastpak and Kipling teams will remain headquartered in Antwerp, and the JanSport team will stay in Denver. Earlier this year, VF sold Eagle Creek, its brand of adventure travel gear.
