Kanye West has filed an application for “YZY sock shoes” via its holding company, Mascott Holdings, TMZ has first reported. Mascotte Holdings, Inc. was formed in June 2004 by West and agent Andre Bodiford. The new trademark application, filed on May 4 to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), primarily involves the categories of socks and socks with leather soles. The rapper was spotted in Los Angeles earlier this month wearing a pair of atypical “sock shoes” that might be his latest creation. West was previously seen wearing shoes that looked like socks back in 2019.
