Decathlon has signed up as an official partner of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The leading French sporting goods retail chain will kit out the 45,000 volunteers who are expected to work at the Games in the French capital. The volunteers will wear eco-designed uniforms, specially created for Paris 2024. In addition, Decathlon will launch various Paris 2024-themed events at its 330 shops across France, including sporting challenges and other initiatives aimed at all ages. Decathlon will also sell official Paris 2024-branded products in-store and via online platforms. The first range of these products is due to go on sale in the coming months. Decathlon joins the other sponsors in the official partner category, which currently include Cisco, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), La Française des Jeux (FDJ) and Le Coq Sportif. The 2024 Summer Olympics, commonly referred to as Paris 2024, are scheduled to take place from July 26 to August 11, 2024 in Paris.
